Learn to Make a Stunning Macrame Plant Hanger
London Craft Club Studio, 20 Bedford Square, London, WC1B 3HH
We are located between Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street stations.
We can't get enough plants in our lives, so making this macrame plant hanger is the perfect way to fit more in to a room.
You will learn a range of basic macrame knots, with plenty of demonstrations from our macrame experts. We have taught macrame to hundreds of people, so you’ll be knotting like a pro in no time at all. One of the reasons we love macrame is that although they look very complicated, they are made using just a few different knots which you can combine in different ways.
Once you’ve created the arms of your plant hanger, we will help you to shape the bottom net, ready for your plant pot to go in. You will also learn how to adjust the bottom net to fit different sizes of plant pots, so you can create a plant hanger to fit any plants you have at home.
You will leave with a finished plant hanger that is ready to be hung up at home. We love hanging ours everywhere - on curtain rails, on shelves, from cupboard door handles... you’ll be amazed how many spots you can find to fill with macrame plant hangers!
And because all your friends will want you to make them one too, you will get to take your pattern home, and we will give you details of where to buy the supplies to make more.
