About this workshop

Want to learn to make your own stunning jewellery pieces using a relaxing beading technique? Then this is the class for you. You will use special delica beads, and a technique called brick stitch, to construct a simple geometric pattern in your choice of colours, and then turn them into a pair of earrings and a necklace.

The process of joining beads together using specialist thread and a beading needle is incredibly mindful, and it's very portable too so you can bead anywhere. Once you learn the basics you can easily follow patterns to create other shapes and designs. We will even show you how to create you own totally unique designs for when you're feeling more confident.

During the workshop you will learn how to brick stitch, how to increase and decrease, how to end your project, how to attach jewellery findings, as well as how to follow a pattern and how to start to create your own patterns too!

We will warn you though - once you start showing off your own hand beaded jewellery you will be inundated with requests to make pieces for your friends and family too!
Although you won't finish your pieces during the workshop, we will give you all the tools and materials needed to complete them, and to carry on making other beaded pieces at home.
