About the Workshop
Our obsession with macrame shows no signs of stopping, and it seems you guys feel the same! Macrame is one of our most popular workshops so we have an exciting new take on this craft to share with you.
These macrame shelves are a real show-stopper! No-one will ever believe you made them, but once you get the hang of the basic knots you’ll be hooked. Using a super soft white cotton cord, and two light wood shelves, you will make this whole hanging shelf unit from scratch. And no power tools are needed!
These shelves are great because they can go places other shelves can't because they're hanging. We've used ours in the kitchen for towels and candles, in the kitchen as extra plant storage and even in the garden to add some cuteness. They were literally invented so you can take the perfect #shelfie anywhere! They stay solidly in place, because the solid wood shelves are heavy enough to provide stability.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to follow a macrame pattern, tie a selection of knots, as well as lots of tips and tricks that will have you knotting like a pro in no time.
