Make a Modernist Mosaic workshop
Hans Unger (1915-1975) was a leading poster designer and mosaicist. In Designs On Britain, you can see the original mosaic for his 1971 poster "Bus About", featuring an iconic red bus. Take inspiration from its brilliantly effective simple colours and geometric shapes and try your own hand at making a mosaic. Using square stone tiles, mosaic tutor Eva Jaber will show you the techniques used in this artwork.
See if you can create something as simple but striking, or take a more playful, multicolour approach. Whichever you prefer, Eva will be on hand to guide you and you'll leave with inspiration and your very own mosaic handmade mosaic
