Make your own beautiful home wares and accessories at a London Craft Club workshop

It’s a great feeling saying “I made that” about something you’re really proud of. At the end of a London Craft Club workshop, you’ll be able to say just that. We have lots of different workshops for you try, making all sorts of projects from small jewellery to big upholstered pieces.

Friendly craft workshops

Our workshops are friendly, encouraging and fun, and we never have more than six people on each one. Whether you come on your own or with a friend, you’ll have a chance to get to know your fellow crafters over coffee and a biscuit. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have any crafting experience at all, we’ll lead you through every step and we’ll supply all the materials you need. We'll introduce you to some tricks of the trade and the professional kit, so in no time at all you can make a gorgeous finished piece to take home with you.

How London Craft Club started

London Craft Club is run by Sonia Bownes, an artist trained in Sculpture and Glass who loves any kind of stitching, making and constructing with fabric. She started London Craft Club in the belief that anyone can benefit from time spent absorbed in making something by hand, but it can be difficult to get started. Sonia's aim is to give people quick, sociable doses of creativity and crafting that fit comfortably into their packed daily lives. She's found plenty to inspire teenagers and adults alike, and she's always looking for new skills to turn into the next workshop.
