Decoupage onto Glass

Transform a glass dish into something really special using the technique of reverse decoupage.  If you've ever thought decoupage was a kids craft, think again! Our expert Gabriela will show you how this can be a truly grown-up technique to create unique, elegant and functional pieces for your home.
You will learn to apply layers of delicate paper “upside down” and build them into a one-off design: your own work of art on a plate! But don't worry, you don't need to be able to draw or paint to create something really stunning because you can select papers from our collection. Choose patterns that range from Scandi bolds, through quirky and cute to muted and sophisticated. Use these beautiful papers to transform a plain glass dish and a tea-light holder into your own unique creations through decoupage.
Our amazing teacher Gabriela will guide you through the design process and show you all the tricks involved in applying layers of thin paper to a glass surface.
All the glass and materials are provided for this half day workshop. You will even be able to use the glass dish for food as you'll apply the paper to the back and then seal it with a waterproof adhesive.
Once you've mastered this technique, you can try it again and again
