Make your own unique Christmas hoop decoration. Learn the basics of embroidery and applique at the same time, so you can make more every year.

We'll start by introducing you to applique and showing you some straightforward embroidery stitches. Next we'll help you put together a brilliant design with some ideas, templates and examples - don't worry if you're not feeling inspired, we'll get your creative juices going!

Snip and stitch your desing in place, and mount your handiwork in a pretty wooden 8inch embroidery hoop. Finish it with a velvet ribbon and hang it where everyone can see it. Nice work!
